Data Import
Data Imports can be a critical part of a business. Market data, listings, leads, product information, current pricing, users, etc. all are vital business data that can need to be updated as often as up to the minute. Team5 has worked on various data import projects and knows how to organize the process to make sure the data needed is received in the time frame required, is valid according to various business rules, issue notifications are constructed, and proper issue handling is in place.
The ability to import and export data (or lack of such ability) has large economic implications, because it can be resource-intensive to input data in non-automated ways (such as manual rekeying), and because lack of interoperability between systems unable to import or export data between each other causes stovepiping and lack of opportunity and efficiencies such as those seen in, for example, mash-ups.
